Timelash
Setting: Straker's hospital room, where Dr. Jackson, General Henderson, and Col. Foster try to find out what happened to the commander.
Henderson: Has he said anything at all?
Foster: No, sir. He's been like this ever since we brought him in.
Jackson: Yes, he's in shock -- physical and mental.
Henderson: Brought on by what?
Jackson: Hard to say. But whatever it was his mind's just had to walk away from it.
Henderson: Anything you can do for him?
Jackson: There is something, yes, but I don't like to use it -- except in an emergency.
Henderson: When SHADO's most vital piece of manpower becomes homicidal, it is an emergency!

Setting: Col. Lake's hospital room, where Dr. Jackson, General Henderson, and Col. Foster try to find out what happened from her.
Lake: I'm sorry. I -- I just don't seem to be able to remember a thing.
Henderson: You can't remember coming back with Commander Straker?
Lake: I can recall leaving the airport in Commander Straker's car, but after that . . . nothing, I'm afraid.
Jackson: Yes, it was a severe blow to the base of the neck.
Lake: [tartly] Don't I know it!
Jackson: It caused a specific amnesia, covering a period of about two hours. It's not uncommon.
Foster: How long will it take her memory to come back? Hours? Days?
Jackson: Well . . . it might never come back.

Setting: Straker's hospital room, where Dr. Jackson and General Henderson return to talk to the commander.
Straker: Time! They murdered time!

Setting: Straker and Col. Lake at studio car out on the lots after their unsuccessful search for Turner.
Straker: Somehow the aliens have given him immunity in return for his help.
Lake: So he's independent of time. He can move backwards and forwards however he pleases.
Straker: Yes.
Lake: Well, that's why we can't pin him down. [puts hand to head] How are we going to find him?
Straker: Well, we've got to try! Trying's all we've got! Let's go.
[They get into the studio car and drive off.]
Straker: They may be years ahead of the human race, but we've got one thing they haven't: bloodymindedness. It built this planet.

Setting: In the doorway of the soundstage, Straker pauses to have Col. Lake inject him with a second dosage of the drug.
Lake: Shouldn't I have another shot?
[Straker says nothing, just rolls his sleeve back down.]
Lake: It was dangerous, wasn't it?
Straker: I made my choice a long time ago.
